What we do

Not just programs. An ecosystem.

A student doesn't need one thing — they need a full chain of support: access, learning, clarity, exposure, confidence, and opportunity. V Devi Foundation (VDevi Foundation) is building that chain, one program at a time, across Delhi's underserved communities.

V Devi Pathshala — Education Access & Learning Support program by V Devi Foundation (VDevi) in Delhi
Education Access & Learning Support

V Devi Pathshala

The Foundation's flagship classroom program — free, daily, volunteer-taught. Pathshala runs after school hours in Delhi communities where families cannot afford tuition and children are at risk of falling behind or dropping out entirely.

Students get structured support in Mathematics, English, Science, and Hindi. Weak students receive additional one-on-one remedial attention. Study circles allow stronger students to help their peers — building both knowledge and confidence at once.

  • Daily after-school tutoring sessions
  • Mathematics, English, Science, and Hindi
  • Remedial support for students falling behind
  • Free notebooks, pens, and exam materials
  • School re-enrollment and admission support
  • Scholarship awareness and application guidance
Women's Hygiene & Health Program — Community & Women's Awareness program by V Devi Foundation (VDevi) in Delhi
Community & Women's Awareness

Women's Hygiene & Health Program

Community-run hygiene workshops that reach women where they are — in their neighbourhoods, in their language, on their terms. The program addresses one of the most underdiscussed barriers to education and dignity in underserved communities.

Workshop sessions cover menstrual health, general hygiene, nutrition awareness, and women's safety. Sanitary kits are distributed free of charge. The program also works to build awareness among parents about the relationship between hygiene, health, and girls' school attendance.

  • Menstrual health education workshops
  • Free sanitary kit distribution
  • General hygiene and nutrition awareness
  • Health awareness camps in communities
  • Parent awareness on girls' education and health
Resource & Supply Distribution — Educational Resource Access program by V Devi Foundation (VDevi) in Delhi
Educational Resource Access

Resource & Supply Distribution

Year-round collection and distribution of books, school supplies, clothing, and food — directed specifically to families already engaged through Pathshala. Every item reaches a known recipient through a trusted channel.

Resources are collected through community drives, donor contributions, and CSR partnerships. Distribution is done directly — no middlemen, no waiting lists. Winter clothing drives, book donation cycles, and food support kits are the three primary distribution tracks.

  • Books and stationery for enrolled students
  • Winter clothing drives for families
  • Food support kits for vulnerable households
  • Student sponsorship coordination
  • Direct family-to-family distribution

Expanding support areas

Building the rest of the chain.

Beyond the classroom, V Devi Foundation is developing a set of programs that address what happens after a student can read and write — career confusion, lack of exposure, missing confidence, and digital gaps that limit their future.

Career Guidance

Career Clarity Program

Structured guidance sessions for students at the crossroads after Class 10 and Class 12. Most students in our communities have never had an honest, pressure-free conversation about what to do next. This program gives them that — skill mapping, interest exploration, and a realistic roadmap.

  • Career guidance workshops after Class 10 & 12
  • Government and private sector career awareness
  • Skill and interest assessment
  • Honest, no-pressure career roadmap sessions
Career Exposure

Career Exposure Program

Speaker sessions, professional interactions, and institution visits that expand what students believe is possible for themselves. Most students only know two or three careers by name. This program gives them a window into the real world of work.

  • Speaker sessions with working professionals
  • Day-in-the-life career walkthroughs
  • College and training institute exposure visits
  • Information on salaries, skills, and growth paths
Mentorship

Mentorship & Personal Development

One-to-one and group mentorship focused on building the soft skills students need to act on their knowledge — communication, confidence, decision-making, and financial awareness.

  • Student mentorship (individual and group)
  • Public speaking and interview confidence
  • Goal setting and time management
  • Financial and digital literacy basics
Digital Literacy

Digital Empowerment

Basic digital literacy sessions for students and community members who have a smartphone but lack the knowledge to use it for learning, job search, or access to government services. Includes AI and technology awareness for older students.

  • Internet safety and responsible use
  • Online learning platform awareness
  • Government portal and service access
  • AI and technology awareness for students
Outreach

Community & Parent Awareness

Door-to-door outreach and community campaigns focused on changing the conversation at home — helping parents understand the long-term value of keeping children in school, especially girls.

  • School enrollment awareness campaigns
  • Parent engagement on girls' education
  • Dropout prevention outreach
  • Community meetings and street campaigns
Sponsorship

Student Sponsorship & Scholarship Support

Connecting deserving students with sponsorship opportunities and scholarship programs they would otherwise never know about. The Foundation acts as a bridge — identifying eligible students, preparing them to apply, and tracking outcomes.

  • Scholarship identification and awareness
  • Application support and documentation help
  • Student sponsorship coordination with donors
  • Progress tracking for sponsored students
